The Lifelong Learning Platform (until 2015 named European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning) was born in 2005 as a response of civil society to new European policies in education and training. 

I was appointed @LLLplatform (still was EUCIS-LLL) in 2015 as Vice President for a period of 3 years after being elected, by peers, from members (European associations)  representing Eapril (already dissolved) and APG.

In the transition from EUCIS-LLL to LLLPlatform the Board faced a problematic lacked of financing from the EC. With no money we encouraged our members to have their financial support ,during this period, untill we reach stability and recognition form the Comission. 

Solidar, Efvet, EAEA, were specially keen to this action.

Th platform lived, and doing the job expected and much more (i remeber the new visual identity, the new website, the name changing, the consignation to education and training projects) . The support came from members as the recognition that a platform gathering education, training and learning members was needed and more than that, CRUCIAL, for the affirmation of Lifelong Learning as an European concept as well as a purpose and a goal.  

Nowadays (2013, reaching its 20th aniversay by 2015), it is likely that Vision was very well succeded and i rest very happy to be part on it.

    Voltando ao tema e relembrando memórias do tempo que passa. 15&16october 2007 _ Lisboa / AIP/Congressos//IV European Conference on eLearning Para organizar esta conferência dediquei-me a ela, quase em exclusivo (apenas intervaladas por algumas aulas em cursos de FoFo), entre 2006 e 2007. Ao tempo estava a lançar em Portugal, nomeadamente no IEFP e em algumas empresas, os cursos de FoFo em b-learning e que ainda hoje são procurados e seguidos.
